OK, I understand that the forces of nature enjoy providing Lori and me with a little extra going away present. Usually the parting gift is frigid weather, blizzard, a misplaced passport or two, preliminary flu symptoms, etc.

We expect to be spending some time in the rainforest over the next few weeks. As an intro to Rainforest 101 we were exposed to an interior inundation the morning prior to departure. Hoping to see toucans and sloths rather that peeling paint and melting plaster.
